Odyssey of the Mind

Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative problem-solving program that engages students in their learning by allowing their knowledge and ideas to come to life in an exciting, productive environment. Participants build self-confidence, develop life skills, create new friendships, and are able to recognize and explore their true potential. OtM proves that students can have fun while they learn!

Art in the Classroom

A program designed to broaden and enhance the educational experience of children through parent-led artist education. Children are exposed to a wide variety of artists and artistic styles and movements, and are given the opportunity to experiment with a range of artistic materials and media.

ASFS No Place for Hate Program

Thanks to the leadership of the ASFS Equity Team, ASFS has earned No Place for Hate designation from APS, and is continuing to focus on school wide initiatives to show that ASFS is No Place for Hate. Below is the No Place for Hate pledge that students, staff, and families are encouraged to sign:

ASFS NO PLACE FOR HATE PLEDGE
I promise to do my best to treat everyone fairly.
I promise to do my best to be kind to everyone—even if they are not like me.
If I see someone being hurt or bullied, I will tell a teacher.
I will help others to feel safe and happy at school.
I will be part of making my school No Place for Hate.
